El Pobal Forgery

Living museum of the iron industry. Built in the 16th century by the lords of Muñatones Castle, the forge operated until 1965. It is the best-preserved forge in Bizkaia and the only one that has retained all its mechanical equipment (wheels, hammer, bellows, etc.). Guided tours are available daily. Ironmaking demonstration (starting the bellows, hammer drill, and demonstration of forging in the forge) every Saturday at 12:00 p.m.
